Roy Garibaldi

World-renown sports and celebrity photographer, Roy Garibaldi has worked with many celebrities and professional sports teams over the years. In the 90’s Garibaldi was privileged to tour with New Kids On The Block as their personal photographer, and got in front of the camera for the first time hosting infomercials with the Worldwide “Air Hammer” and “F2 Wedge” with legendary golfer Bruce Devlin.

Garibaldi then hosted ‘Golf Talk’ TV Show on Fox Sports Net from 1998-2000. Over time, Garibaldi realized the media often wasn’t giving celebrities and athletes a fair shake.  In 2000, Garibaldi created “The Positive Side of Sports” radio show. Not long after, Garibaldi took the show to ESPN Radio in Arizona and it quickly became one of the most listened to sports talk radio shows.

Building on the success of “The Positive Side of Sports”, in November 2009, Garibaldi launched, “Positive Side of Sports & Entertainment.” In July 2011, Garibaldi retired from radio to focus solely on the television show.  And after several years of being away from the golf industry, Garibaldi is re-launching his golf television show in addition to “The Positive Side of Sports & Entertainment”.

In May 2012, The Positive Side of Golf launches on Saturday’s at 3pm on KTVK 3TV. Don’t be surprised if you see Garibaldi out and about behind the camera shooting stills or videos as a contributor to the show, as it’s still his passion.
